A last minute decision to take my Mum to see a little bit of true african wildlife. We had a great time although the grass was so high as can be seen here ...










Simon's mum and Dad joined us a few days later. Believe it or not it was Wally's first time in a game reserve. We had the best Hippo sightings we had ever seen - they seemed to be everywhere.... and then there were the lions. We had the privelege of getting very close to a mummy lion and her cub right next to our chalet!!!....















Aren't they cute and relatively tame too. I thought Lions were a bit hairier than this





A great time was had by us all
